Al-Qaeda, Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaishe Muhammad etc are classified as the Terorists groups. My question is  what makes LTTE and Prabakaran  different from these terrorists?
LTTE says killed our former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi. Can any of us forget it?  and why sonia gandhi is forgeting that and co operating with tamil nadu chief minister who is backing up LTTE indirectly. May be the TamilNadu CM(Karunanidhi) doesnt spit out his support to LTTE in open but between his words his loyality to LTTE is evident. LTTE is a terrorist organisation. The kind of attacks LTTE has done in past is similar to what the pakistani terrorists are doing and can only be classified as terrorism.  The Tamil Nadu CM is playing Dirty Politics in view of the Parliment election next year.
The issues in srilanka is the internal subject of srilanka. why does tamil nadu CM speaks in support for that. reason is simple. There are lot of relatives of LTTE’s and srilankan-tamilians in TamilNadu. Tamil Nadu CM is targeting the votes of those and trying to play ther emotional game to get votes. His mind is so cheap that he cant syncronise with the attitude of whole country. I would say it is much similar to Thackeray’s view which is cticized by the rest of the country.
The Politicians just proving they themselves are the worst thing that has ever happened to India.

British Biased channel :: Biased BBC !!!

It May sound strange but i feel at BBC they are little biased. The BBC dont describe the attack on mumbai (26/11) as just terrorist attacks. They call theTerrorists as just GunMen.

The can call the London bombings as a terrorist attack but cant call mumbai attack as terrorist attack.    What the hell stops them from describing the mumbai attack as terrorist attack.  Are they(BBC) playing a Pakistani supporter role even after  UK Prime minister and US President says there is eveidence against pakistan. ?

I Request all Indians to boycott the BBC Channel

Its great that England returned to India despite the Mumbai Terrorist Attacks on 26/11.

This test match series will Tell the world that India is safe. Once the cricket Players Return after Their Successfull tour, I’m sure that will create a secure feelign in the minds of foreign tourists who are feared after the 26/11.

You can argue that English cricketers are back because india gave them the top class security and this might not be possiblefor all who visits India. But the fact is successfull tour of india by England team can give a moral secure feelign to forieng and domestic travellers.

Cricket is going to overtake the fear feeling that terrorists created in mind of every indian
Lets all thank Kevin Pieterson and gang for their decision to return to India

and ALL THE BEST TO DHONI AND MEN

Rule 49-O has been the hottest email doing its rounds in the last couple of weeks. to be specific after the mumbai terror attacks.

I got the mail from more than 50 people and still keeps on getting it. and io’ve seen the same post hundreds of times in orkut communities.  To be honest i belived it was a true mail and even posted a topic in an orkut community.  But that night when i sat in front of compouter , i observed  that the way the emails opf 49-O are coming in are just like the usual chain emails . That made me research on the topic.

First I searched for an e-copy of the constitution of india.  and later realizing that i saw the phrase conduct of elections 1961 in most of the emails  i searched for it instead of the constitution .  and to make my search easier i opted for search only in the gov.in and nic.in domains

And soon I was successfull in getting the e-copy of conduct of election rules  1961 . I got it  from the website of Law Ministry .  Here is the link to that.

I actually found the rule 49-O stated in the e copy of  Conduct of Elections Rules 1961 .

49-O.   Elector  deciding  not  to  vote.-If  an  elector,  after  his electoral  roll number has been duly entered in the register of voters in  Form-17A and has put his signature or thumb impression thereon  as required  under  sub-rule (1) of rule 49L, decided not to  record  his vote,  a remark to this effect shall be made against the said entry in Form  17A  by  the  presiding  officer  and  the  signature  or  thumb impression of the elector shall be obtained against such remark.

It had nothing saying about the repoll or nothing about the barring of candidates etc.  That made me research further on the topic. This time I searched for the counting procedure. so that i can know if the NO VOTEs is counted at any stage.  and eventually i reached at the pdf link of  handbook to the collection agents

Here in the end i found one column asking the counting agent to write in the number of NO VOTEs as per the rule 49-O. but prioceeding further i understood that  writing the Number of   NO VOTEs is only to make sure that the total number of Votes tally with the voting slips issued.

And i searched further and found that lots of  proposals for Making the NO Votes of 49-O rule countable as it is said in the email forwards has gone to the governnment and it has never been put into action

NOW FRIENDS WE HAVE NO OPTION LIKE NO VOTES AND BAR THE CANDIDATE FROM ELECTIONS . its just another Email hoax.

ALONG WITH YOU I TOO PRAY THAT THE PROPOSAL TO MAKE THE NO VOTE COUNTABLE IS PUT INTO ACTION

LET US ANNOUNCE TO THESE POLITICIANS WE WILL VOTE FOR YOU ONLY IF YOU PROMISE TO MAKE THE 49-O EMAIL TRUE

The National Informatics Centre has copmeup with an online petition system for public

The URL to the online  Grievence handling system is  http://eparathi.kerala.nic.in/

The above URL works for the state of kerala..  i’m not sure if such  URL’s exist for the rest of the states in India. If you can find them please add it as comment to this Post

This is a web based system for handling the Public Grievances. ePARATHI is the acronym for Petition Accept, Redress and Acknowledge Through Internet. Filing of petition and action entry on the petitions are both happening simultaneously in this system. Thus ePARATHI provides the latest status on the actions taken on a petition.
Any person who needs to submit a Petition to the Government can access the ePARATHI from any Internet location. They are the Public users of this system. Public can also view the action taken on the petition at any time.

Registered users are the officers and staff authorized for handling the petitions. Each user will have a Login-Id and password to enter this system. The users are created by the administrator of the system. The actions taken by these users on the petition will be immediately available for the petitioner.

ePARATHI is basically, a system for handling the Public Grievances received at the District Collectorates. The Public Grievance Cell at the Collectorates forwards the petitions to the related officers in their district. So the PG Cell can handle the petition only for their district.

I Hope Every citizen makes use of this online tool for filing petitions. and i hope this system works properly.

I wasn’t interested in continuing to write against the controversial remarks by Kerala CM VS Achuthanandan. But Few Responses to my previous posts and few comments  by the VS supporters prompted me to write about this issue again.

First of all let me make it clear i’m not an anti VS  supporter. i supports  him for his initiative in the action against real estate mafia, and other actions he has initiated in his run as CM of kerala.

My only concern is focused on Kerala CM’s attitude and words he use following mumbai terror attacks.

let me pin point it out.

1) Political secretary of Kerala CM went for the Funeral of Sandeep Unnikrishnan. But did the Political secretary or anybody try to speek it out till VS made his controversial remark.??

2) Kerala Media Complained that the kerala Govt ignored Sandeeps unnikrishanan.  wasnt it true?  VS and Kodiyeri was at party meeting and as described in a polpular malayalam daily another minister was busy inagurating tourist boat.  I didnt hear any statement from the part of govt or CM expressing their condolence officialy to martyrs family.

3) Mr Unnikrishnan Had made it clear he dont want to see any politicians and he didnt even attend call from Indian defence minister. So was it necassery for the  CM tro visit sandeeps house on his way back fromthe party meeting.?

4)  Wasn’t it possible for CM to make a statement to press   and express his condolence to Martyr even between the party meeting? it sounds ridiculious to go to a martyr’s house to express condolence  3 days after the death and i day after the funeral.

5) I’m not arguing that unnikrishnan’s actions were right. He wasnt right. At the same time his reaction could be seen as a reaction from a father who has lost his only son  and the  initial ignorance from Kerala Govt mighthave made him say that.

6) Now to the controversial remark by CM.  the reporter did ask whats the comments about unnikrishnanas words.  But was it appropriate for the CM to say what he said.

The media later reported that some family member of the martyr saying “reply by the chief minister as quite natural and pointed out that there would have been no controversy had such a question not been raised”.

quite natural !!!!  My question is–> Is it appropriate for a Chief Minister To reply in a non dignified manner ??

And  about the journalist who asked the question… what is wrong in the question?  the question was a simple one.  CM could have ignored the question or could have replied using some better words.  but he stick to the words that hurts any dignified man or family in the country

7) No regarding his reactions later. He said he wont say sorry and he never did. One o my previous Posts (Atlast he said sorry) wad based on the media reports which said he said sorry. But later when i reviewd his press conference remarks i found that he never said sorry.  he just expressed his regret on the issue.

8 ) Is regret and sorry the same. ?   i havnt learnt so.  I still demand VS should say sorry rather than just expresing his regret.  Or else in future  we might have to see similar or worse remarks from politicians or others and we will have to see them escaping without saying sorry.

9) Is it sandeeps family alone who should say they have forgiven kerala CM.??

NO. sandeeps didnt die for his family he died for the entire country. i belive it is the country which has to forgive Achuthanandan and not Sandeeps family alone. But the Media found it interesting in defining the issue with just sandeeps family on the scene.

I WANT VS ACHUTHNANDAN TO SAY SORRY AND ASK HIS MEN TO STOP DEFENDING WHAT HE WRONGLY SAID

HE IS WRONG…

AND AS SOMEONE ELSE MENTIONED

THE WOUND IS ALREADY MADE THE APOLOGY MIGHT REDUCE THE PAIN EVENTHOUGH IT CAN’T BE CURED.

But then they(Taj Staff) decided to evacuate us, because they had heard that the old Taj wing was on fire. And some Member of Parliament, who was in the room with us, talked to a radio station and said that there were 200 people safe and secure, but locked up in the Chambers. And this was reported also on TV. So the Taj staff very valiantly tried to evacuate us, since our undisclosed location had been disclosed.

This is quoted from the interview that The New York-based couple Anjali and Michael Pollack gave to rediff.com after they survived the Mumbai terror attack in Taj hotel

So silly from the Part Of the MP and from the Part  of Media.  The reporting of the Mumbai terror attack was great,  but senseless.

I Support Vishal Dadlani’s Small Change Petition . Please sign the petition and make a change

And All Credits to Taj Staff for holding their nerves and helping others.

Nation Salutes your bravery

The latest wave of attacks in Mumbai by the Pak based LeT have created a wave of nationalism in the minds of us Indians. Never has there been such a national uproar against the Political clowns of our country. What these clowns and the LeT morons fail to undermine was that although we are a nation of Millions of passionate cries, we are a great nation, a nation which has given leaders like Subash Chandra Bose, Lokmanya Tilak, Chandra Shekar Azad, Bhaghat Singh…….

As the whole of India mourns the death of our people, the rest of the world is playing mind games. These people are hell bend on destroying our country.

We were ambushed and slaughtered again! There is legitimacy for what we do at this juncture. Forget peace for now. We have to show them that we are strong.

We have laws of a civilized nation and we cannot afford to be uncivilized, but I say we should resist such laws for now. You tell me what law protects terrorists?? It is time that we heard with new ears. Every civilization finds it necessary to negotiate compromises with its own values. It is time for our armed forces to conduct deep penetration strikes in the heart of Pakistan and POK to destroy the Terrorists training camps. As the saying goes ‘Its Now or Never’.

Are our political clowns hearing!!!!!!!!!

At last the Honourable CM of kerala made up his mind to say sorry.

It is Very late for him to say sorry but still he said sorry.. that is something rare from politicians.

but i still stick to what i said in my last post .. his comment is the blunder of the year

Now i would like to see the BJP activists who made that dirty seen in front of Secratriate to say sorry for what they did,.

I would also like to hear the comments from Mr Unnikrishnan.
